Rhythm and Romance is a unique combination of rich Samba, Salsa and Bossa Nova love songs anchored by Kenny’s intoxicating and signature saxophone melodies. From the classic ballad “Sabor a Mi” to the romantic “Besame Mucho,” Kenny has created a tantalizing album unlike any other in his catalogue. On this seductive album, Kenny performs with some of the best Latin musicians including Alex Acuña of Weather Report (drums), Ramon Stagnaro (guitar), John Pena (bass), Michito Sanchez (percussion) Enrique Martinez (accordion), Nathan East (bass), Paulino Da Costa (percussion) and producer Walter Afanasieff (piano) to create a truly infectious rhythmic style. The album also features guest vocals by rising Chilean star Barbara Munoz and Spanish-speaking pop/rock sensation, Camila.
With Encanto, his follow-up to the highly acclaimed Timeless, the man who has become virtually synonymous with Brazilian music takes us even deeper into Brazil with all the basic tracks recorded in Rio and Bahia featuring an incredible Brazilian percussion section. Sergio also gives Encanto a more global focus, bringing in international guest stars such as Latin superstar Juanes from Colombia, multi-talented Carlinhos Brown and Vanessa da Mata from Brazil, the foremost Japanese pop group, Dreams Come True, Belgium’s Zap Mama and Italian rapper Jovanotti, as well as American stars like Fergie, Natalie Cole, Herb Alpert and his wife, original Brasil ’66 singer, Lani Hall.

First Course is the first studio album released by jazz guitarist Lee Ritenour. The album was released in 1976 on LP by the label Epic Records. It was re-released on CD by Sony Records in 1990.
The album was made at the time that Ritenour was still a session musician, perhaps considered the best of the time in Los Angeles, California next to Larry Carlton. He drafted friends and peers from Dante's and the Baked Potato club in Studio City, Los Angeles, California to record this "artifact of the early L.A. jazz/funk sound" Ritenour was worried about creating the album, as he has stated "I was still thinking as a "studio musician", and I was very worried about having my own identity on the guitar, because up until that time my job as a studio musician had been to be a "chameleon" ... it wasn’t until several years later that I felt more comfortable with who I was stylistically."
Financially, there were issues with the album, since the "sound perplexed studio executives" who were mainly looking for the next Bitches Brew or Return to Forever. This was melodic rhythm and blues-based jazz that didn't find a home until new wave-type radio stations became mainstream over a decade later.
Reza Saleh is an outstanding bass player and a multi-instrumentalist from Jakarta Indonesia, with a great passion for music. He was the winner of best New Solo Smooth Jazz Artist at the 2006 Long Beach Jazz Festival (video). He has been hired to open for the likes of Peter White, Jeff Gollub, Richard Elliot, Gerald Albright, and The Brand New Heavies. (video). He has been artist of the month from many pod-cast shows around the world.Sponsored by GHS strings, he has been a demonstrator at the NAMM show for the last two years for such products as DeMars Guitars and Accugroove bass amplifiers.
Reza was raised in a very musical family. His extreme interest in music has existed since witnessing a piano jam session between Emir Saleh (brother) and the late Usmawi Saleh (father).Usmawi always stressed to Reza the importance of music being a complete language within itself, and that while jamming, communication is a key focus and goal.Next, Reza was blown away when he saw an Earth Wind and Fire concert video because of how many people playing different instruments could hold that communication while onstage together. It was then that he committed himself to perfecting his voice in the phenomenal language of music.
Reza has lived and breathed through his BB 3000S bass since the age of twelve, there were times that he could barely reach all the frets, and at times he experienced arm and shoulder pain due to a frenetic practice routine. He has remained loyal to his Yamaha bass to this day.
